Time is speeding up for Warwickshire Artsweek. A record number of entries from interested artists have been received, and the good news is that the 64 page brochure has now been put to bed, and the printers are busy preparing artwork for the final printing process and we shall soon have delivery of brochures for Warwickshire Artsweek 2008!
The Warwickshire Artsweek Committee are busy organising the next round of area meetings, and an elfyer mailing will shortly be going out to all participating artists giving them details. These meetings will be held early-mid June when brochures, venue signs, posters and car stickers will be given out, and any other queries can be dealt with, and help given where necessary.
Showcase exhibitions are also planned in each area, and again details will shortly be on their way via email to let participating artists know. These exhibitions will be held in the town centres of Rugby, Stratford and Warwick promoting one piece of work by each participating artist; helping visitors to plan their artsweek trips more effectively.
In the meantime, the Committee are seeking more volunteers, so if you feel you could help in any way, for example, distributing brochures and putting up posters around the area, or for more information, please contact admin@warwickshire.co.uk
