Colour has been fundamental to Cockburn’s work and his assured style and palate carry many of the hallmarks of the Scottish Colourist tradition, at the same time his work displays a refreshing individuality to investigate and represent the characteristics, the changing qualities and colour in nature. His work is a celebration of what he sees and his desire to convey a sense of place and mood.

Directions: Sherbourne is located just two minutes south of Junction 15 of the M40, off the A429. Follow signs for Sherbourne and turn into Fulbrook Lane. Turn into left into Church Road signposted, All Saints Church & Village Hall. The hall is on the left as you come into the village.
